Contentful releases free Community Plan to build digital experiences

Contentful, an omnichannel content platform provider, has introduced its free Community Plan to allow businesses to craft digital experiences on digital signage, mobile, online and other platforms. The plan provides free tools, APIs, training and certification, according to a press release.

"The pandemic has put tremendous pressure on businesses to expand their digital capabilities even more quickly," Steve Sloan, CEO of Contentful, said in the release. "To create the next generation of digital experiences, builders need modern tools and training that makes it easy to learn new technologies. We believe everyone should be able to build without friction, so our new community plan offers free-forever access to the industry's leading content platform, coupled with a great learning program. This will help more organizations enter the digital-first era with digital-fast capabilities."

In addition to the Community Plan, Contentful is also expanding its Team and Enterprise plans. Users can access more authoring tools on the Team plan or handle more advanced use cases with the Enterprise plan.
