ConverseNow adds 5 to executive team

ConverseNow, a voice AI technology platform for restaurants, has appointed five senior members to join its executive team as the company enters the next phase of expansion, according to a company press release.

ConverseNow's AI automates voice orders for restaurants, namely through phone and drive-thru channels. Live in more than 1,000 businesses nationwide, their platform has been used by restaurant owners and franchisees for hiring during a nationwide labor shortage, while boosting sales, average ticket and guest experience.

Joining the team as Chief Technology Officer is Zubair Talib. Talib has served as founder, CTO, CEO, board member, and advisor to several software businesses.

Michael Leins was appointed CFO to manage all strategic and operational aspects of finance, accounting and legal. Prior to joining ConverseNow, Leins served as CFO at RapidDeploy, a SaaS company providing next generation software to the 9-1-1 industry.

Benjamin Brown, ConverseNow's VP of marketing, will be responsible for heading programs that drive lead generation and thought leadership across both the restaurant and technology fields. Prior to joining ConverseNow, Brown founded TastePro, a restaurant marketplace platform that pioneered self-guided food tours.

Amy Dolan will oversee ConverseNow's people and culture function. Amy will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of talent , organizational effectiveness and building the company's engaging culture. Prior to joining ConverseNow, Dolan was senior vice president, people culture, for eight years at DialogTech, a conversation intelligence platform for marketers and sales leaders.

Wayne Moffett, who will be leading ConverseNow's customer onboarding team and product management for the company's customer success support tools. Prior to joining ConverseNow, Moffett served as senior director of engineering at Procurant, a foodservice procurement platform, and ParTech, a restaurant technology and hardware supplier.

Following its $15 million Series A round, with total fundraising exceeding $18 million, ConverseNow is working with large restaurant brands, as well as bringing on additional investment partners, according to the release.

These senior leadership additions will help ConverseNow scale its infrastructure to keep up with demand, as well as position it for a successful series B round.

Founded in 2018, ConverseNow is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
