Company sends displays to the slammer
Regroup, a mass communications solutions company, plans to launch services for correctional facilities in the U.S. It will help the facilities combine their communication technology such as digital signage, pagers and other tools into one cloud-based platform, according to a press release.
Regroup offers a variety of APIs, database integrations and thirty party integrations to provide a redundant, reliable mass communication system. The company also offers an encrypted mobile app with push notification technology to help groups both on-site and off-site work together.
"We know from our work with thousands of clients over the last decade that unified communications improve both daily operations and the efficiency of response efforts to critical events," Chris Utah, COO of Regroup, said in the release. "In a correctional facility environment, there’s no margin for error. The implications of falling short when it comes to a critical response could be measured in lives. This is why administrators who understand the risks turn to Regroup for their mass communications needs."
