Cloud-based digital signage solutions provider makerSign will be exhibiting at CeBIT in Germany and will be demonstrating its first cloud-based digital signage platform using the DISE Content management software platform and low-cost media players powered by the Android OS, the company announced.

The makerSign media players are plug and play and designed to make it easy for end-users with no technical background to activate their digital signage display in minutes and manage and operate it from anywhere, the company said.

The DISE software is an enterprise software suite featuring multiple player screen synchronization technology, and its latest capability supports cloud-based content management and playback on the Android platform, the company said. MakerSign teamed up with the DISE development team to launch its first Android Player M5 to the market earlier this year.

Also, makerSign offers an optional Anonymous Video Analytics service bundle on the M5 player to provide audience demographics such as gender and age group. The measurement information associated with content proof-of-play is available as online report accessible by the network owner in real time.

The company also plans to launch its 4K playback product with DISE later this year.

The CeBIT business IT trade show is scheduled for March 16-20 in Hannover, Germany, and makerSign will be demonstrating the M5 Player, All-In-One Screen and its full line of Android Media Players at the show.
