The Digital Place Based Advertising Association announced today that Clear Channel Airports has signed on as the latest company to join the association.
"You can feel the momentum building for the entire digital place-based advertising sector, including the DPAA, as we get closer to the seventh annual Video Everywhere Summit on Nov. 4 in New York," DPAA President and CEO Barry Frey said in the announcement. "We look forward to providing Clear Channel Airports with the broad range of services and support that come with belonging to our organization."
Clear Channel Airports currently operates more than 280 airport programs across the globe and has a presence in 32 of the top 50 U.S. markets with major airports, according to the announcement. Company President Jon Sayer said, "We plan to take full advantage of our DPAA membership, connecting with marketers and agencies to study and collaborate around furthering the effectiveness of digital place-based advertising networks, like our ClearVision television network which continues to expand in airports and other venues across the country. With consumers spending more and more time out of home, content delivery to consumers on the go is a growing opportunity."
The 2014 Video Everywhere Summit will be held in New York City the same week as two other major media and advertising events: Ad-Tech New York and Customer Engagement Technology World, both slated for Nov. 5-6. Details on this year's event can be found at www.videoeverywheresummit2014.com.
