Cisco digital signage system connects employees for training

The Sydney Morning Herald: Burdened by geographical disparity, First National Real Estate, an Australian company, is using a digital signage solution to train employees remotely rather than gathering them in a common location, a practice that has become both costly and inconvenient for the company.
The solution was network-based training. FNRE chose Cisco's Digital Media System, which manages and publishes media for digital signage and desktop video. The Cisco Digital Media Manager provides tools for users to add and archive media, assign tags and keywords, preview content, manage workflow and create playlists.
