Global visual technologies company Christie announced it is installing its Christie Experiential Networks at Screenvision's Upfront Advertising event in New York City on May 7. Screenvision, a national cinema advertising provider, with a presence in approximately 2,300 theaters, will host executives from advertising agencies and national brands at its annual event.
The event will showcase the 2015/2016 slate of movies and showcase Screenvision's cinema media network for advertisers to tap into a scalable audience replacement that addresses the decline in TV ratings and audience fragmentation, the announcement said.
"Screenvision is excited about partnering with Christie at our Upfront event and our ongoing discussions about a broader strategic partnership for the cinema lobbies," Screenvision CEO Travis Reid said in the announcement.
Christie Experiential Networks solutions range from interactive, user-driven video walls to projection mapping and multisided immersive environments, the company said, creating engagements that allow consumers to respond to and interact with brands, leading to longer dwell times and emotional connection. Companies can deliver timely content and ad management from a remote or central location, allowing for consistent and timely experiences in as many locations as needed, the company said.
"Christie Experiential Networks has set the new standard for DOOH in theaters, providing award-winning content and signage destinations that are fully scalable, from digital one-dheets, to fully immersive, interactive digital standees," said Craig Sholder, executive vice president, global business development and strategic planning, at Christie. "Christie's arrangement with Screenvision further strengthens Christie Experiential Network's growing leadership in the industry, with advertising and branding that runs the full gamut of traditional and cutting edge DOOH solutions."
