Visual and audio solutions provider Christie will be showcasing the Christie Captiva DHD400S ultra-short-throw projector, the 65-inch multitouch Christie FHD651-T LCD panel and the Christie Brio Team+ at the Campus Technology 2015 education technology conference, July 27-30 at Hynes Convention Center in Boston, the company announced today.
Visitors to the Christie booth will see the company's latest technology for enhanced learning environments, including a preview of the newest addition to Christie’s lineup of laser phosphor projectors, the Christie Captiva DHD400S, the company said.
The 1DLP projector brings 3,500 lumens to small spaces with an ultra-short-throw lens that delivers HD images from very short distances, while providing 20,000 hours of light, eliminating costly lamp and filter replacements. Intended to be ideal for the classroom, the 0.25:1 short lens throw ratio of the DHD400S means that students and teachers can get close to the display without disrupting the image, the company said.
The Christie Brio Team+ is a collaborative tool designed to allow users to connect wirelessly regardless of their location and share information using their preferred device, whether PC, Mac or Android.
According to Christie, educators can pair the Christie FHD651-T 65-inch LCD touch panel with the Brio Team+ to turn the 65-inch touch panel into a collaborative whiteboard with up to four simultaneous touches. For use in portrait or landscape orientation, the FHD651-T 65-inch LCD touch panel has HD resolution and a wide range of inputs including HDMI, DP and DVI.
