Christie intros video processing software license

Christie has launched its Pandoras Box V8 Software License for real-time video processing and show control. This software supports NDI network streams, and can be paired with Pandoras Box Server R5 or other setups, according to a press release.

With this license, customers will have access to entire range of former licenses including Server, Player, Compact Player, Software Player, Manager and Educational. It can also handle 3D stereoscopic video playback and processing, 64-bit processing and 10-bit color depth playback.

"Pandoras Box software Version 8 is a great leap forward in terms of the flexibility and workflow it offers," Markus Zeppenfeld, product manager, Christie, said in the release. "With this new software version, we've kept the core appeal of Pandoras Box by combining the feature sets of all our existing software licenses into one single package and offering it to every level of Pandoras Box user. This solution will deliver more value, quality, features, performance and further streamline the creative efforts for our partners, be they consultants, integrators, rental stagers or end users."
