The Chesapeake Energy Arena, based in Oklahoma City and home to the NBA team Oklahoma Thunder, recently partnered with Adflow Networks, a subsidiary of Daktronics, to upgrade its static signage with digital signage. The company provided a museum display, menu boards and other displays for the arena, according to a case study.
The arena was looking for a better way to advertise its products and services at its concession outlets. So it selected Adflow to provide a turnkey solution, which included Adflow's web-based platform for digital media management and distribution, according to the release.
"During a game, there is lots of excitement on the court. We really wanted that excitement to expand into the concessions and dining options. Adflow's solution for dynamic pricing enables us to capture a healthier market share. With the ability to change prices and menu items to suit the client demographic of each event, we have been able to capture an additional $10,000 per event," said Kaarthik Iyer, director of food and beverage for Savor, the catering provider for the arena.
