Cayin upgrades firmware for digital signage user interface

Cayin Technology has launched a firmware update for its digital signage user interface, the SMP-NEO2. The update adds two new display modes called Extended and Distinct and a color coded UI, according to a press release.

Extended allows users to showcase one content across two screens. Users can use the Distinct mode to show different groups of content on different screen outputs. The SMP-8000QD, for example, can support four different displays and four different contents.

Cayin redesigned the UI with a color coded wizard to help users set up their screen array, specifically for the SMP-8000QD. The UI is designed to help the user navigate the more complex display options.
