Canadian morning TV show installs video wall

The Canadian TV show "Your Morning" recently teamed up with Advanced to deploy a video wall for its studio. The company selected an Orion Plasma video wall all in a 3 x 8 24-panel configuration, according to a press release.

The video wall has a bezel of 2.7 mm. The middle right and left side wings are designed to be divided into 2 x 3 and 3 x 3 panels, which allows the producers to place logos or other graphics on the sides.

Advanced also installed 28 mounts to supply tight seams between each display panel. The company provided four Orion panels behind the video wall to serve as back-ups if any panel needs to be replaced.

"The video wall truly turned out to be a fantastic addition to the show," Kevin Linton, vice president of engineering, Advanced, said in the release "Between the small-bezel Plasma technology and the custom-built mounts, we were able to really achieve a spectacular final product. 'Your Morning' certainly achieved what they had hoped to with this investment."
