Digital signage software solutions provider C-nario today announced that the company's software platform, C-nario Messenger, has been implemented in Mumbai International Airport's recently inaugurated Terminal 1C.
Times Innovative Media Ltd., the Indian out-of-home media solutions company with exclusive advertising rights for Mumbai International Airport and Delhi International Airport, chose C-nario as the technological platform provider and Mumbai-based A/V specialists Apseco Systems & Software as the integrator.
The digital signage network at Mumbai airport includes 10 47-inch LCD screens, and the content plan is to have RSS-based news headlines, RSS-based astrology forecasts and weather reports for selected cities, as well as live TV and advertisements, according to the announcement. C-nario's platform enables advertisers to upload and approve ads via the Web.
"Airports are a strategic market for us," said Yael Elstein, vice president of marketing for C-nario. "Today, an increasing number of airports understand the advantages and benefits of digital signage, including high-resolution pixel-perfect content in a multidisplay, multichannel environment."
