BrightSign partners with NEC for integrated large-format signage solution

BrightSign has partnered with NEC Display Solutions to provide an integrated large-format digital signage solution. Through this partnership, NEC's range of MultiSync V Series large-format displays are now available with BrightSign's OPS media player, according to a press release.
The displays offer a brightness output of 500-cd/m2 and feature an anti-glare surface. The OPS media player provides the display with a variety of features including:
- HTML support and 4K upscaling.
- Access to more than 20 CMS vendors through BrightSign's BSN.cloud Control Cloud platform.
- Video engine supports H.265/H.264.
"As businesses emerge from the pandemic, digital signage plays a key role in welcoming customers and employees back with informative and important digital content," Nils Karsten, strategic alliance manager at NEC Display Solutions, said in the release. "Integrating BrightSign's OPS media player is the ideal complement to our V Series displays, and we can now jointly deliver an all-in-one, industry-leading and very reliable digital signage solution."
