Board's Eye tool captures pedestrian, traffic counts

June 5, 2007

TORONTO — MISA, provider of outdoor media management software, announced the launch of Board's Eye, a hardware solution designed to capture and report pedestrian and traffic counts.

Using a camera eye mounted on a structure, pedestrian and/or traffic counts are analyzed by direction flow and length of view. The system is capable of reporting how long an individual stands in front of a particular ad.

Board's Eye is also able to monitor all types of lighting systems using one common interface. Two-way communication with the structure allows the market scheduler to monitor electrical and mechanical malfunctions; alarms are automatically sent in the event of a failure.
