Big Book of AV tour coming to St. Louis

Stampede, a distributor of ProAV solutions, is bringing its 2016 Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series to St. Louis at the Sheraton Westport Chalet on Oct. 13. Attendees will get a chance to meet with ProAV manufacturers and check out the latest technology for audio, video, display and digital signage, according to a press release.

The event will take place from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Users will get a chance to attend several presentations on topics ranging from video walls and drones. The topics include:

• "NEC 10 Steps to a Successful Video Wall" from Mark Weniger, account manager of channel sales at NEC
• "Overview of the Drone/UAS Industry and Business Potential" by Rob Luther, Drone Video Systems
• "Drone Video Systems: A New AV Category for a New Age of Opportunities" by Luther
• "Make Your Future Brighter with Toshiba Commercial Displays" by Bruce Walker, national training manager, Toshiba
• "Cut the Cords: BYOD and Wireless Presentation from Any Devices," by Ed Pham, business development manager, WePresent

"The 2016 Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series continues to draw bigger and bigger crowds at each stop of the tour as AV and IT systems integrators, together with their end-user customers in a broad range of vertical channels come out to see, hear, and experience for themselves the future of AV that is unfolding before them — everything from traditional audio and video to exciting new product categories like Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Drone Video Systems and Virtual Reality," Kevin Kelly, president and COO, Stampede said in the release.

All attendees will receive a $500 Stampede Credit, and a $50 American Express gift card. They will also enter into a drawing to win one of two DJI drones.
