Bannister Lake, a Canadian media software developer, recently helped deliver real-time data feeds to video displays at the U.S. Open Tennis Championships USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center complex in Queens, New York from Aug. 31 to Sept. 13. The company worked with Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment, a display content provider, to deploy more than 250,000 XML files to 20 large displays, according to a press release.

The company used its Chameleon solution to schedule, moderate and query the data. The platform could then schedule the content and control specific zones on the screens.

Bannister Lake also used a Match ID system to pair up appropriate data with matches so that operators could quickly deliver player biographies, rankings, headshots, flags and other statistics to the displays. USTA news producers could also write content and send it to the displays.
