Axiomtek's digital signage module now supports 7th gen Intel processors

Axiomtek's OPS compliant digital signage player called the OPS500-501-H now supports 7th generation Intel Core and Celeron processors with the Intel H110 chipset. Axiomtek's older OPS models used 5th or 6th generation Intel processors. The module is designed to offer 4K resolution, according to a press release.

"Axiomtek's OPS500-501-H supports LGA1151 socket-type processors to offer greater flexibility for Intel Core CPU selection," Vincent Ji, product manager of product pm division at Axiomtek, said in the release. "The compact module can simply be connected to an OPS-compliant display via a standardized JAE TX-25A plug connector, which supports DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0, UART, audio, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 signals. It enables digital signage manufacturers to simplify installation, maintenance and upgrade at an extremely low cost."

The module features one USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.0 ports, one COM port, one HDMI and one GB LAN port. Other features include:

  • One 260-pin DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM socket with up to 16 GB of memory;
  • Supports one PCI Express Mini Card slot; and
  • Designed for simple installation and maintenance.
