Audio Authority integrates BrightSign's system-on-a-chip solution

Audio Authority has integrated BrightSign's system-on-a-chip solution into its line of media hubs. With this integration, end users can deliver engaging video and audio experiences for customers, according to a press release.

Audio Authority has added the SoC to its 1812 Media Hub, 1824 Media Hub Distribution Amp and 1826 Media Hub/Audio Switch. BrightSign provided its BrightAuthor software to allow customers to update and manage content. Features of these products include:

• 1812 offers 1080p video along with custom interaction via BrightSign's BrightAuthor software.
• 1824 adds multiple video outputs to the main Media Hub. Each output offers 1080p video signal.
• 1826 offers digital or audio analog in each of its four outputs. Multiple ports support devices such as touchscreen and touch panels.
