Atlona updates IP-enabled A/V control solution

Atlona has released Velocity 2.1, a firmware update for its IP-enabled A/V control, room scheduling and device management platform. The company has also launched its AT-VGW-HW-20 Velocity hardware gateway and its AT-VSP-800 8-inch scheduling and A/V control touch panel with integrated bezel lighting, according to a press release.

Velocity 2.1 comes with multiple new features such as:

• Create rooms in bulk.
• Provides context-based training.
• Two-way driver creation.
• Simplified menu navigation for controlling and scheduling.

With the gateway, users can schedule up to 40 rooms and perform A/V control for up to 20 rooms. The touch panel's LED lighting offers a visual representation of room status, but it can also be used inside huddle spaces, conference rooms, classrooms and other places, according to the release.
