Fayetteville, Arkansas-based Aurora Digital Signage is partnering with Verizon to provide its end-users with secure Internet access and enable them to make remote updates, according to ArkansasBusiness.com.
Aurora CEO Brent Robinson told Arkansas Business that some of his firm's clients may have security protocol concerns or could be without Internet connectivity in their locations with digital signage deployed. Working with Verizon will enable those clients to use its wireless network to drive their digital signage content and eliminate the need to run internal cables, he said.
"Verizon's high-speed 4G LTE wireless network allows our digital signs to display content in real-time, without having to utilize an organization's in-house Internet," Robinson said in the article. "That's critical in industries with high levels of security concerns such as financial institutions and health care facilities."
