Aopen debuts DEX5145 mini PC for digital signage, smart visual applications

Aopen has debuted the DEX5145, a fan-less mini PC built for demanding, space-limited environments including digital signage deployments.

It's powered by powered by Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake-U processors, with up to 64GB DDR5 memory and integrated Intel AI Boost providing up to 8.2 TOPS of AI acceleration, according to a press release.

It also features dual HDMI 2.1 outputs supporting 8K@60Hz, enabling ultra-high-definition content playback with smooth performance and HDR support.

"Whether it's powering AI-enabled retail experiences or running real-time analytics at the edge, the DEX5145 was built to handle it — 24/7," Vincent van der Meer, senior technical manager at Aopen, said in the release. "Its compact size and robust design make it ideal for mission-critical environments."
