AOPEN has announced its Chromebox Commercial 3, targeted at industries including retail, QSR, manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality.

AOPEN, a Taiwan-based electronic hardware manufacturer and part of the ACER group, has announced its Chromebox Commercial 3, targeted at industries including retail, QSR, manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality, according to a press release.

The model includes aluminum and SECC metal construction for durability, along with fanless operation, engineering for 24/7 use, support for up to 4x 4K UHD video playback, and integration capacity for digital signage and kiosks.

The Chromebox Commercial 3 includes an external power switch and AC Power Auto Recovery, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and a three-year warranty (with a five-year warranty option).

The system is rated for operation in temperatures between zero and 50 degrees Celsius (32-122 degrees Fahrenheit).
