Allure inks contract with Brenden Theatres

October 21, 2016

Allure, a subsidiary of Christie Digital Systems USA, has signed a contract with Brenden Theatres, based in the Western U.S., to deploy its Christie Experiential Network. The CEN is designed to provide branded interactive content, such as multitouch displays, in theatres, according to a press release.

The CEN has provided a variety of DOOH tools, such as beacon-enabled displays, that can interact with consumers' mobile apps and social platforms or video walls that advertise the latest films.

"We're very excited to have Brenden Theatres join the Christie Experiential Network. We are looking forward to working closely with their team to leverage our platform to bring a new level of energy, engagement, and entertainment, to moviegoers in their theater lobbies," Kevin Romano, executive vice president of global media at Allure, said in the release. "CEN's deep understanding of the movie theater business and our unique blend of experiential digital technologies enables us to help exhibitors generate incremental revenues and highly differentiated experiences."

The theater chain has recently deployed digital posters and high definition video walls to create a better customer experience.

"Adding the Herringbone 'Hero' Wall and digital poster cases in our theater lobbies has truly created a dynamic and engaging experience for our patrons," Johnny Brenden, president and CEO of Brenden Theaters, said in the release. "They are perfect for delivering ultra-rich and high-definition content, making our theater a one-of-a-kind VIP experience."
