Allure Global deploys digital menu boards at the Georgia Dome

July 19, 2010

Allure Global Solutions Inc. recently announced the installation completion of its dynamic digital menu boards into all concession and food service outlets at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The initiative included 55 concession and food service outlets utilizing 216 forty-two-inch LCD displays.

Last year, Allure Global completed a successful pilot program at the Georgia Dome with the dome's concession partner, Levy Restaurants, covering three concession sites, including an underperforming, normal and high traffic/high volume site. A set of goals and objectives were established and Allure Global's digital menu boards were installed. Sales were compared and analyzed on an event-by-event basis, as well as to last year's same site sales. The pilot showed double digit sale increases for products that Allure Global digitally animated and promoted. This is a consistent testimonial for the value of dynamic digital menu boards versus static menu boards.

The Allure Global Digital Menu Board solution will enable the Georgia Dome and Levy Restaurants the ability to effectively and efficiently ensure individual concession site level menu compliance. This will offer the flexibility to support diverse menu versions, dynamic price changes, full motion video of food products and numerous promotional items. This solution will also display various state and sanctioned event alcohol policies, crew training videos with sound capabilities and other marketing communications messaging.

"Our ability to prove the value of our digital menu board solution was a true partnership with Levy Restaurants, the Georgia Dome and us," Allure Global president and CEO Craig K. Chapin said. "We can now brand the menu boards to the event they have going on at the Dome, whether it be an Atlanta Falcons game, Georgia State University Football, the Chick fil A Bowl or any other type of event. Also, we can change menus at stands on an event-by-event basis. For example, last year for the U2 concert, Levy changed a large stand from a full food service site to a bar, then changed the menu back instantaneously."
