Allure, a Christie company, recently introduced its AutoFocus solution for cinema. This solution is designed to operate digital signage networks with automated tools, according to a press release.
The system is designed to apply rules to the network to configure, showcase and prioritize content without the need for a human user to manage the content. The system can interface with several sources such as point-of-sale, weather feeds, news and more.
"The idea of a fully automated content rules engine was an offshoot of our highly successful insights and analytics business," Jason McCallum, executive vice president of operations for Allure, said in the release. "Early testing validated we had something special, but the incredibly complex nature of ingesting data from a wide range of data sources and applying algorithms to create relevant and easy-to-apply rules that leveraged data-based insights and clients' human capital knowledge/experience, required extensive development and validation testing – an exciting and daunting challenge that has produced a remarkable product."
