Albuquerque selects Clear Channel for emergency digital signage alerts

Mayor Tim Keller of Albuquerque, New Mexico, recently announced that the city has chosen Clear Channel Outdoor's digital billboard network to display real-time emergency alerts, according to a press release.

The city can use 44 digital billboards to reach 98.5 percent of the population with safety and disaster preparedness messages, according to the release.

"Our digital billboards serve as one of the most powerful broadcast mediums available to transmit critical information during crises, and Clear Channel Outdoor is committed to partnering with communities around the country to enhance safety and improve lives," Brenda Begley, vice president of sales for Albuquerque, Clear Channel Outdoor Americas, said in the release.
