After launch of new ad platform, TouchTunes joins DPAA

The Digital Place Based Advertising Association today announced that TouchTunes, which it said is the largest in-venue interactive music and entertainment network in North America, has become the latest addition to the trade organization's membership ranks. TouchTunes earlier this year announced the launch of Attract Media, a new digital out-of-home activation platform for advertisers and publishers to connect with millennial consumers in more than 60,000 social venues nationwide.

Attract Media's cross-screen ecosystem is designed to activate consumers in-venue through video and interactive display messaging delivered across a connected network of digital jukebox and digital signage screens, as well as a proximity-enabled mobile app.

"Attract Media has successfully leveraged TouchTunes' innovative technology to create exciting, new opportunities for advertisers in the digital-out-of-home space," said Barry Frey, president and CEO, DPAA, in the announcement. "We look forward to providing them with the tools and support they need to advance their ad sales partnerships to an even higher level."

"With Attract Media, we are transforming the way marketers can leverage digital screens in social venues by integrating mobile, social, proximity and other technologies," TouchTunes COO Jim Wilson said. "Barry and his team at DPAA have done a great job of advocating for digital place-based media among clients and agencies. We are pleased to support their efforts by joining their membership ranks and will work closely with them to grow the market."
