Advantech launches video wall streaming solution

Advantech has released a new video wall signage solution called the DS-980. The device is designed to stream video to six displays and is powered by Intel i7/i5/is Celeron rPGA processors, according to a press release.

The solution comes with three HDMI outputs and integrated PCI Expression 3.0 x 16 expansion slots to stream to six screens. Companies can manage content across the screens in 4K resolution.

The device also features:

• Support for multiple video formats such as HEVC/265, AVC/264, MPEG2, VC1/WMV9, VP8 and JPEG/MJEP;
• HDMI 2.0 support;
• Integration with WebAccess/IMM, a content management software;
• Support for cloud based content management solution WISE-PaaS/RMM;
• Flexible configurations such as 1x6, 6x1 and 3x2; and
• Support for Microsoft Windows 10

The solution is available for sale now.
