Ad:Tech review: digital ads survive tough times

Forbes: Companies are shifting marketing dollars to digital in hopes of reaching more consumers as the economic downturn is pummeling magazine, newspaper and television advertising. Ripple, a company that delivers local ads on flat-screen TVs in public places such as coffee shops and gyms, is a prime example of a digital ad company that helps advertisers measure their online success. Ripple president and co-founder Ali Diab said that audience measurement and targeted ads are key reasons for success.
