“We can work with a customer if they have something as simple as a napkin sketch to create their custom design, and come up with a solution that would work best for the customer as well as manufacturability,” said Hubert.

Industrial designers use design thinking to create custom kiosk solutions that help businesses address their market needs. “Our engineers draw from a breadth of kiosk design experience. This helps them work with clients to determine both functional and aesthetic requirements for each project,” said Meridian Founder and CEO, Chris Gilder. Once the client and supplier agree on the requirements of a solution, the engineering team creates a series of conceptual and environmental renders for review. “The customer and sales team will review what the requirements are for the project, gather a list of all the components that are needed and will then determine what kiosks style would be the best fit for that use case,” said Hubert.

Engineers take the desired concept and create a fully functional 3-D CAD model, accounting for every screw, weld point, component, bracket and hinge required in building a fully functional custom kiosk solution.
