Toronto entertainment complex to power content to 320 screens using Omnivex Moxie software.
September 9, 2009
Omnivex Corp. announced that its Moxie digital signage software will be used by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (MLSE) to power a large network of digital screens at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
As part of phase 1 of the rollout, Moxie will power 320 LCD screens and provide live video content in concourse areas, as well as advertising messages. In addition, information will be shown to aid in facility navigation and promote upcoming events being held at the various MLSE facilities.
The Omnivex platform was part of the full, end-to-end digital signage solution for Air Canada Centre developed and implemented by consulting and services firm, Digital Display & Communications Inc. (DDC).
Air Canada Centre's digital signage system will be unveiled for fans and guests during the Maple Leafs' preseason game against the Boston Bruins on September 16. Subsequent phases of MLSE's deployment will continue in 2010, both at the Air Canada Centre and at other facilities managed or owned by MLSE.
According to Omnivex in a press release, "Moxie software provides customers with a sophisticated set of tools for managing large networks of screens. The software builds on Omnivex's core competencies with data management, and includes advanced functionality for user access rights and managing advertising networks."
Omnivex digital signage software enables organizations to collect, present, and share information in real-time, on any screen.
