Video walls are a common technology in retail, restaurants, offices and other spaces due to their clear benefits. For example, video walls are attention-grabbing and offer greater pixel density and screen size than many traditional displays. That being said, it can still be a challenge to differentiate your video wall from other competitors.
Intel Corp. and IBASE Europe recently addressed the "secret recipe" to how businesses can differentiate themselves with video walls during a webinar hosted by Digital Signage Today. Bradley Cooper, editor of Digital Signage Today, moderated the discussion with Daniel Lee, business development manager at IBASE Europe and David Tay, product management at Intel for this webinar.
During the event, Lee discussed several tools that can help video wall stand out such as IBASE's video wall platform.

The solution utilizes a last frame capture feature, which can automatically display the last frame in the event of a malfunction. It also used extend-display identification emulation and display status monitoring to notify business owners to fix content or display/cable issues during a malfunction.
Other features of this platform include:
During the presentation, Lee and Tay also discussed multiple success stories such as an airport that was able to display flight schedules on 72 dual side panels or how the Canton Tower in Guangzhou, China was able to deliver 4K images and videos with OLED wave panels.
