Digital signage isn't just for advertisements, it is also useful for creating an engaging, immersive environment that fit the overall feel or brand of your space. With airports in particular, displays can showcase cultural or natural features of the destination to get travelers excited to be there.

The Changi Airport in Singapore took that lesson to heart with its latest installation with JCDecaux Singapore, a subsidiary of the advertising company JCDecaux. The company deployed a 3D display with anamorphic content to show the wildlife of Southeast Asia, complete with immersive sounds.

In a video of the display, you can see two parrots perched on a tree branch, which then fly up to the display as if they are about to pop through. They are then chased off by a jaguar who sits on the tree branch and growls for a moment before leaping off the branch, claws extended, creating a 3D effect of it jumping on the user.

The display also features the sounds of the forest to immerse viewers.

"Inspired by the lush horticulture of Terminal 2, this spectacular site is an extension of the verdant urban landscape that characterizes Singapore," a Youtube video description stated. "The first of its kind at Changi Airport, the cinematographic display features Southeast Asian wildlife, mimicking our garden city right in the midst of the new terminal. Emerging strongly from the pandemic, the leopard in particular reflects the agility and strength that JCDecaux Singapore embodies."

You can see the display in action by watching the video below.
