Concert films bring the next visual evolution for rental LED displays

The movie industry received assistance from an unlikely source in 2023, with a significant box-office boost coming from the music industry. Concert films dominated much of the theater fare, especially during the latter part of the year.
The Eras Tour concert film, which documented performances by singer Taylor Swift, has generated box office revenues of nearly a quarter-billion dollars globally as of Nov. 23, 2023, with $176 million of that coming from the United States. The tally secures the film's place as the highest-grossing concert movie ever made.
With concert films likely to become a key part of documenting the musical experience, filmmakers want to ensure the event is captured in all its detail. The increasing use of LED displays in concert performances adds a stunning new component to concert visuals, but when it comes to filming those performances the use of LED displays can present a challenge.
