Zoom certifies LG all-in-one conferencing unit

LG announced that its One: Quick Works all-in-one conference display has earned certification for compatibility with Zoom videoconferencing, according to a press release.

The 55-inch display includes integrated audio and microphone, 4K video, touchscreen and digital whiteboard capability and a built-in Windows PC. The system supports videoconferencing via the LG One: Quick Remote Meeting native app in addition to various apps available in its Conference App Store, but with the growing popularity of Zoom Rooms, Zoom certification for full compatibility aims to make the system more accessible for a significant user group accustomed to Zoom thanks to its adoption during pandemic by many businesses, universities, and government entities.

"Zoom Rooms Hardware Certification enables integrators and end users to trust that Zoom and LG capabilities are fully optimized," Tom Carroll, sales director at LG Business Solutions, said in the release. "This gives LG end users, resellers and integrators a powerful tool that helps end users eliminate meeting software conflict and ambiguity, while providing a streamlined meeting and conferencing experience."
