YESCO introduces indoor double-sided LCD kiosk

YESCO has released a new large-format, high-resolution sign system for use in interior applications. The Y80PDDN is an 80-inch double-sided LCD kiosk system that incorporates many of the same components found in YESCO's outdoor interactive LCD product line, and it is optimized for high-performance interior applications, the company said in a news release.

"We wanted to show how our modular systems could also be used for interior applications," YESCO spokesman J.R. Williams said in the release. "By taking our outdoor LCD system and modifying it for interior applications, we have developed a double-sided kiosk that can be used in hotels, casinos, museums and airports."

The Y80PDDN comes in a grey powder-coated finish but it is also available in custom colors or finishes, including wood grains, marble or stainless steel. It comes with an embedded computer and player as well as an optional proprietary system monitoring tool to ensure performance.? And the new model uses quad-pixel, high-contrast Sharp LCD technology, which the company said consumes a fraction of the power of competing technologies.
