YCD, Philips unveil turnkey 3-D signage system

ISRAEL — YCD announced a collaborative effort with Philips 3D Solutions to develop a turnkey 3-D signage solution. This new solution is built upon YCD's MuVi (Music Video) system and RadioPoint content management and delivery platform, using displays from Philips.

The solution comprises full integration between YCD's MuVi platform and Philips 3-D screens. With Philips 3-D displays viewers can experience out-of-screen effects without the need for special glasses. The system has a wide viewing zone that allows multiple persons to experience 3-D at the same time.

The 3-D MuVi player will be available to clients as an end-to-end managed solution. The system allows users to add 3-D text, RSS, flash, ads, logos and other layers in real-time.
