Xilica selects Techni+Contact as Canadian distributor

Xilica, a digital signal processing solutions provider for A/V, has selected Techni+Contact Canada as its sole distributor for Canada. The company will provide Xilica's products such as modules, field-swappable cards and expansion devices, according to a press release.

Techni+Contact will help raise brand awareness and visibility for Xilica's products in the Canadian market. The company represents a number of other A/V businesses such as Spinetix, AMV, Ecler, Utelogy and WolfVision.

"Xilica is the first professional DSP manufacturer in the Techni-Contact portfolio, and fills an important gap in our product line," Julie Legault, president of Techni+Contact, said in the release. "Xilica is aligned with our core verticals, and will help us propose and configure fully integrated solutions that are more competitive and on target with what our customers seek. Their clever, compact and modular designs are an especially strong fit for the A/V over IP ecosystem, while providing end users with the freedom of complete A/V device control across the network."
