X2O's Xpresenter powers screens at Specialty Fertilizer Products' new HQ

X20 Media released details on a project with agriculture research and development firm Specialty Fertilizer Products (SFP), where the software provider outfitted a new headquarters building with digital signage screens and pro AV equipment
Having outgrown its previous facility in Belton, Mo., SFP began construction on a new 13,000-square-foot headquarters in Leawood, Kan., in August of 2008. As part of the new construction, Professional Video Supply, a Kansas-based AV integrator installed a 52-inch display in the reception area, and most notably, a Sharp 108-inch LCD in the boardroom.
The network is powered by X20's Xpresenter digital signage platform, which is distributing 1080p content over CAT-6 cabling.
"Xpresenter provides us with a valuable marketing tool. Acting as a first-impression device, it allows us to greet visitors with information on our company and products, while distributing that same content throughout our facility," said Jake Sanders, vice president of Market Development at SFP. "With Xpresenter, our content can be anything from live feeds to video and image files. For example, we can show clients a segment on SFP sponsoring a race car or highlight other upcoming events. X2O developed all of our initial content, and since then it has been simple to use the Template Maker to continue developing content ourselves."
