Wildstone, an OOH operator based in the United Kingdom and Europe, today announced its plans to launch OOH operations in Australia, with a strategic priority on digitization of static sites, according to a press release.
Wildstone also named Noel Cook as its managing director of Australia. Cook's previous roles include serving as co-founder of oOh! Media, an OOH advertising firm based in Australia and New Zealand, and he brings more than 30 years of OOH experience in the Australia market to the role.
The news comes after Wildstone has developed its European footprint to include more than 5,000 digital and static assets since 2010.
"Our expansion into Australia marks a significant milestone for Wildstone," Damian Cox, founder and CEO at Wildstone, said in the release. "The market offers tremendous growth potential, particularly in the digitization of existing sites. We have long admired Noel's work and are thrilled to have him join our team. His exceptional pedigree in the world of OOH and DOOH will be instrumental in helping us achieve all the goals we have set."
"Wildstone's track record, leadership and expertise in Europe speak for themselves, and there is immense growth potential for their world-class platform in the Australian market," Noel Cook, managing director for Australia at Wildstone, said in the release. "I'm particularly excited to help them deliver the benefits of digitization to Australia, which will help maximize opportunities for landlords and media buyers across the country."
