WAVIT announces EmpowHER virtual event

Women of AV/IT (WAVIT) has announced its virtual kick-off event EmpowHER will happen on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, according to a press release.

The nonprofit women's advocacy group seeks to support women working in the fields of AV and IT, and board members at the event are scheduled to supply interested attendees with resources related to the organization's mission, followed by networking opportunities.

"We're extending an invite to all WAVIT members and prospective members to join our EmpowHER event," Gina Sansivero, president at WAVIT and VP of marketing and corporate communications at AtlasIED, said in the release. "We're excited to share our plans and initiatives and highlight what resources and tools members can take advantage of for their career development.
