'Wanderlust' campaign delivers information to fliers

February 9, 2017

Outdoor advertiser JCDecaux has launched a contextual digital campaign called "Wanderlust" at the Singapore Changi Airport. The campaign is designed to offer real-time weather updates and information for various cities around the world, according to a press release.

JCDecaux deployed multiple 70-inch displays in the departure transit precinct of the airport's third terminal. The displays provide information on the destinations of flights, such as the key landmarks of London or the weather of Hong Kong. The displays can also showcase trivia about the cities.

JCDecaux powers the campaign with its SmartCONTENT platform, which customizes targeting based on weather, time, location and other data, according to the release.

"With JCDecaux' SmartCONTENT Platform, we are able to offer 'right time, right place, right message' capability to our clients, who can now benefit from higher campaign efficacy with dynamic messaging and greater contextual relevance," Evlyn Yang, managing director of JCDecaux, said in the release.
