Volanti Displays selects BrightSign media player for 4K displays

Volanti Displays has integrated BrightSign's Series 3 XT media players into its 4K touchscreen displays. The media players are designed to support HTML5 digital signage applications and 4K 60-Hertz HDR video, according to a press release.

The Volanti touchscreens will now have a faster touch response speed due to the 100-Hz touch sensor, the 60-HZ video display refresh rate and the faster media player. The media player is designed with an automatic setup and cloud networking feature. Customers can integrate a live video or TV feed into the display, due to the media player integration.

"It is exciting to see a dedicated media player running 4K content and able to provide fast multi-touch support with enterprise-level robustness and reliability," said James Henry, CEO of Volanti.

 Volanti's 4K UHD displays are available in 55, 65, 84 and 98 inches, according to the release.
