With the takeover, Visual Art will continue to expand its digital signage software solutions across Europe. The company is present in eight European markets.
Visual Art's client portfolio includes McDonald's, ICA, Kesko, Circle K, NIO, 7-Eleven and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. The addition of Ocean MediaTech adds customers such as Synsam and Skruf adding more than 4 million Euros to Visual Art's annual revenue.
"We are in a strong expansive phase and are incredibly happy to be able to partner up with clients who, like us, are on a strong growth journey in Europe," Anders Apelgren, CEO of Visual Art Group, said in the release. "We also get new employees who possess solid knowledge in LED and will continue with our strong partnership with the Ocean Outdoor group. We will continue to invest in our digital signage software and other innovative solutions such as the AI solution we started delivering to a fast-food chain in 2020 to, among other things, increase the average receipt."
Ocean MediaTech officially becomes a part of Visual Art on Feb. 1.
