Visix Inc. recently launched antimicrobial covers for its interactive meeting room signs. These protectors are made with a thin film that reduces germ transmission by up to 99%, according to a press release.
This film is available for Touch10 and Connect meeting room signs. In laboratory tests using colon bacillus and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, the coating reduced the germ rate by 99% over a 24-hour period. It also filters out 99% of UVB light from reaching the screen or reflecting to a customer's eyes.
"We're all concerned about germ transmission, especially with COVID-19," Trey Hicks, chief sales officer for Visix, said in the release. "These covers are a very simple but effective precaution that our room sign clients can put in place, and installation is as easy as applying a screen protector to your phone."
