Visionary intros AV over IP wallplates with Bluetooth

Visionary, a provider of AV over IP technologies, has released two PacketAV DUET Wallplate Encoders. The DuetE-WP-BT model features Bluetooth technology and the DuetE-WP-H model features HDMI only connectivity, according to a press release.

The DuetE-WP-BT can deliver 4K video and Dante/AES67 audio along with bi-direction smartphone connectivity through Bluetooth 5.0, according to the release.

Both models can fit into a Decora-style wallplate for use in a wall, tabletop, lectern or floorbox. They also feature a 45-degree Ethernet connector and a single Ethernet port with internal VLAN tagging capability to separate audio and video network traffic.
