ViewSonic partners with TUV SUD for color blindness feature

December 29, 2020

ViewSonic Corp, a visual solutions provider, has partnered with safety and quality expert organization TUV SUD to launch a color blindness feature for monitors. This feature uses a color filter mode for color vision deficiency users and a simulation mode for content creators to craft a color blindness-friendly experience, according to a press release.

With the filter, users can identify images with enhanced color visibly and they can also activate the color filter function via vDisplayManager and choose between normal color filter and advanced setting filter for better contrast levels.

With the color blindness simulation modes, creators can see how their content will look to a CVD user.

The feature is available or ViewSonic's ColorPro monitor series: the VP2468a, VP2768a and VP3481a, according to the release.
