ViewSonic intros 2 WUXGA laser projectors

ViewSonic Corp. recently introduced the LS900WU and LS850WU WUXGA laser projectors. These devices feature 6,000 and 5,000 lumens of brightness respectively for use in boardrooms, houses of worship, lecture halls and more, according to a press release.

Both projectors come with SuperColor technology to deliver "true-to-life" images, according to the release. Other features include:

• 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
• 16ms input latency.
• H/V lens shift and 360-degree orientation function.
• 1.65x optical zoom.
• Includes Crestro e-Control and RoomView Express management software.

The LS900WU offers up to 30,000 hours of laser light source life, dual 5W speakers and a 1.15-to-1.9 throw ratio. It is available for $5,499.

The LS850WU offers up to 20,000 hours of laser light source life, dual 10W speakers and a 1.36-to-2.18 throw ratio. It is available now for $3,999.
