Videotel to launch 4K media player

Videotel plans to launch its VP 90 4K/1080p player in July. The device is designed with a built-in scheduler and network connectivity, according to a press release.

Users can update content remotely through a server, ftp or app. It can also update content on multiple units as well. Other features include:

• Interactive analytics;
• Can integrate with Push, Move, Wave, Sense and Elevate peripherals;
• Photo player; and
• Seamless loop.

"The research and development process for the VP90 has paid off in spades," Lisa Schneider, digital vice president of marketing and sales, Videotel, said in the release. "This solution is a redefinition of scope for Videotel Digital. We can now compete with the largest competitors in our marketplace."
